With a view to bring about a balanced and harmonious development of the personality of the future citizens of the country and to infuse in them lofty ideals of the vedic culture and a high sense of patriotism, the Arya Samaj decided to set up a network of educational institutions in the memory of its founder star maharishi Dayanand Saraswati.
