Comprehensive & Continuous Evaluation

As per CBSE norms, the school has started with recent improvement i.e. CCE with a focus on all round development of the personality of the learner. With an objective to provide holistic profile of the learner through regular assessment of scholastic & co-scholastic domains of development. Scholastic refers to the assessment in all subjects of curriculum & co-scholastic refers to the life skills, attitudes and values, interests and participation in the co-curricular activities. It is continuous because it will be carried out throughout the year at proper intervals in the form of Formative Assessment and Summative Assessment. The academic session will be divided into two terms i.e. April to September and October to March. There will be two formative assessments FA-I, FA-II followed by one summative assessment in the first term. Similarly the second term will comprise of FA-III, FA-IV and SA-II. Formative assessment may be based on Pen-Paper Test/Project Work/Class Room Activity/Outdoor Activity/Practical/Oral Work etc. Whereas summative assessment will be carried out at the end of the course of instructions and will measure how much a student has learnt.
